Our story. .
The dream of Yoga teacher Meg and Meditation teacher Matty, a husband and wife team. Deciding to return back to Aotearoa, after time away in London, they were keen to raise their children in the Far North but sad to leave the incredible classes of London that they had grown accustomed too, along with the supportive and inspiring Yoga community.
So they decided the next best thing was to bring this energy and all that they had learnt to Kerikeri.
Meet Our Team
Our dedicated teacher's bring a wealth of experience and passion for yoga to every class.
Meg
First discovering Yoga at age 19 while working in a retreat in Spain, it wasn't until a few years later that she really 'got' the benefits.
Motherhood evolved her practice from something rather physical to a much more inward journey.
Meg trained and continues her learning under international Yoga & Meditation teacher, Michael James Wong at The Krama Yoga School in London. It was here she was taught by many inspiring teachers on the UK Yoga scene.
She has since trained with Just breath, learning the art of breathwork & meditation focusing on down regulating and supporting.
Her focus is to create a total experience every class, finding joy with movement and sparking a nurturing kindness for yourself.

Matty
Matty's humble kiwi upbringing on the rugby feild sparked a lifelong interest in health and fitness. Discovering yoga in his early 20's, Matty describes this as the foundation of his ongoing focus on wellbeing. After years of daily meditation he took the dive into deepening his understanding of the practice and trained with Dr Graham Burns & Isabell Britsch at Yoga campus London in 2022.
Reiki healing is among his area's of study . . along with accounting.
Working mainly behind the scenes due to his busy full time role at a Maori health trust, where he has been on a journey of deepening his understanding of Te Ao Maori.
Within the studio he holds space with a monthly meditation class and teaches at the Numi retreats.
Matty believes the benefits of meditation can help so many.
Stephanie
Stephanie has been practicing yoga for 15 years and has strong Ashtanga background.
She completed her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India in 2015. Stephanie taught a variety of yoga styles while living in Ontario, Canada including hot power, vinyasa and yin. While attending Queens University in Kingston, Ontario Stephanie ran her schools Yoga Club and taught a variety of classes for the University. After finishing University Stephanie moved to Perth Australia where she taught yoga classes for her colleagues while working at remote field camps in the outback. Before having her son, Stephanie travelled extensively, always taking the opportunity to practice yoga wherever she went. She loves trying new styles and learning from new teachers.
The most important part of Stephanie’s yoga practice is the focus on breath and creating a moving meditation throughout her asanas.
